How it works
The containment cell is designed to fit on the standard FT-ATR accessories for direct analysis on materials and compounds without exposing the substance to the environment and to the operator. The cytotoxin sample is placed inside the PEEK container, isolating the substance from direct contact. By enclosing the sample in a safe area, the ATR containment cell minimises operator exposure during displacement and analysis procedures. The ATR crystal remains accessible for analysis while the stainless-steel and PEEK structure ensures chemical resistance and safe handling. Useful for research and development of cytotoxin drugs, quality control and verification of hazardous formulations, academic and industrial laboratories handling of toxic pharmaceutical products.
