Hyphenated Interfaces: a Bridge to New Powerful Possibilities
Hyphenated interfaces for evolved gas analysis (EGA)
Gain deeper insight into evaporation, decomposition, and other chemical reactions with evolved gas analysis (EGA). REDshift hyphenation helps you uncover the origins of complex samples by using your preferred TGA, FT-IR and GC/MS instruments.
REDshift Hyphenation Systems
Achieve Great Identification from a Single Run
Start the quantification process of a small sample, using either a controlled thermal ramp or a defined isothermal setting. Track gaseous evolution for each weight-loss step, without dilution or saturation effects.
TG-IRe Interface
Performs real-time analysis, providing valuable information on the composition of evolved gases generated in you thermal analyzer. Ensures easy data interpretation and minimal system maintenance on your interface, TGA and FT-IR instruments.
- Heated transfer line - Heated Zero Gravity IR cell - Adapter specifically designed for your TGA - E-controller Kit
TG-GCMSe Interface
Evolved gases are trapped in a heated sampling loop contained and injected in the GC-MS. Perform GC separation and MS analysis to targeted chromatogram information. The interface design is also capable of skipping GC separation to MS online analysis, by using its single-ion mode capability.
- Heated transfer line - Heated GCMS injection block - Adapter specifically designed for your TGA - E-controller kit
TG-IR-GCMSe Interface
Designed for a deep understanding of processes inside the thermal analyzer. Characterize unknown elements with confidence. The system sequentially directs evolved gases from the thermo-gravimetrical analyzer to the FT-IR and then to the GC-MS instruments. During thermal separation, the FT-IR provides real-time spectral sequences, while the GC-MS enables separation and precise peak identification. MS online by skipping GC is also possible.
- Heated transfer lines - Heated Zero Gravity IR cell - Heated GCMS injection block - Adapter specifically designed for your TGA - E-controller kit
TG-MSe Interface
Targets real-time of lowest levels of known elements in complex mixtures. The mass spectrometer (MS) is isolated during stand-by and TGA sample loading, preventing ambient air contamination. Evolved gases are introduced only when an event is detected during the TGA run.

Set up a temperature ramp to reduce the risk of secondary pyrolysis caused by high temperatures in the hyphenation system. Prevents the destruction of elements during your analysis.
CLIMACHROM2000
Perform gas chromatography up to -20°C. Drastically reduces high acquisitions costs from disposable gases, reaching higher performances.
Allows multiple GC injections during a single TGA run using fast cooling capability or shorter columns technique. Our proprietary design prevents gas stagnation and clogging from analyte deposition after several runs.
