PERMEATION TESTING CHAMBER SYSTEM

Automate sampling and FT-IR analysis of gases and vapors evolved from a permeation test chamber for up to three permeation cells.

The instrument is specifically designed to automate sampling and trigger analysis of gases and vapours evolved from a permeation testing chamber which accommodates up to three cells, introducing a 2 meters Long Path Cell (LPC) for your FT-IR spectrometer.
The system is provided with an optimized Peltier-effect chamber for permeation cells. The box maintains a stable temperature at 23 °C during the entire analysis time, providing switching between cells test and acquire spectra with the long path cell installed the FT-IR.

How it works
The system is equipped with:
- Peltier-effect thermal conditioning chamber, for up to three permeation cells, with a stable temperature during the entire analysis.
- 2 meters Long Path Cell, heatable up to 100 °C.
- Main controller box with touchscreen display to setup and monitor the sampling cycle.
The system can be entirely configured for your analysis and acquisition standards. By using the touchscreen display on the main controller: monitor flow and temperatures of the chamber and the LPC, direct the carrier gas to the defined permeation cell and start sampling with the long path cell for FT-IR spectra acquisition. Set up washing of the path and standby position, when the flow of the chamber remains active and it is redirected to the exhaust port. REDshift system can trigger background and spectra when needed.
