The cylindrical body can be manufactured in borosilicate glass or stainless-steel polished, depending on sample type.

IR WINDOWS

Window material is selected based on sample composition and spectral range. The most common are KBr and ZnSe.

Fixed paths are permanently aligned at a specific path length, variable path designs allow adjustment as required by moving the plane mirror micro-screws.
